The “Tamara Grujic” Foundation had the honor of attending this year’s St. Sava Ball in the magnificent Hofburg Palace in Vienna, one of the most significant and certainly the oldest gatherings of our diaspora in Austria. In the spirit of tradition, togetherness and humanity, this evening was much more than a celebration – it was a powerful reminder of how much together we can do for those who need help the most.
The stay in Vienna was an opportunity to present the work of the Foundation, but also to share with our people in the diaspora the story of the Dimic family from Mogila, in Kosovo and Metohija, who need support in order to get a safe and dignified home. The warmth and solidarity we felt during the evening once again confirmed that there are no borders when it comes to humanity.
Assistance to the Dimic family was provided in the form of monetary funds needed to completely renovate the family’s home.
The foundation continues its mission throughout Serbia, and will cooperate with many organizations and businessmen outside the borders of our country, relying on the strength of unity and the belief that every child or children’s institution in Serbia deserves a safe home, or adequate conditions for education or treatment.
